Facts and Figures
The Hochschule Niederrhein (HN) has around 12.600 students, of which some 3096 are first-year students (as per Winter Semester 2012/13), making it one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Germany.
Today, the HN is a regional university with a national and international reputation. An above average proportion of women (49%) and foreigners (12%) are enrolled at the Hochschule Niederrhein. The foreign students come from some 100 countries.

The ten faculties at the Hochschule Niederrhein are located at the campus in Krefeld or in Mönchengladbach.
