During this year`s 5^th semester projects in the faculty 07 – Textile and Clothing Technology at Hochschule Niederrhein, team 02 cooperated with the upcycling label Studio Amaran Creative for whom we developed a partwise practically approved roadmap regarding the optimization of the upcycling process of ties into fabric and manufactured clothing products. The roadmap and a belonging manual present technical, sustainable, and social optimization possibilities aiming for an industrial, circular and more efficient way of producing upcycling fashion on a larger scale. The results and possible solutions worked out by the team members, are implemented in two specially designed and manufactured upcycling clothing items.
