Prof. Dr. Nicola Scherer is Professor of Cultural Management and Cultural Work with a strong interdisciplinary background in fine arts, performing arts, cultural management, and cultural policy. Her work bridges artistic practice and research, with a particular focus on cultural institutions, artistic freedom, and transformation processes in the arts. She combines academic research with extensive professional experience in cultural organisations, higher education, and international research contexts.

Im Theater – und in vielen anderen Kulturbetrieben – steht zwischen Kunst und Care oft noch ein „oder“.

Das Projekt Culture.Care wird in den kommenden drei Jahren sieben Theater in Deutschland in ihrem Prozess begleiten, um Strukturen und Haltungen für eine bessere Fürsorge-Vereinbarkeit zu entwickeln.

BABEL – or the Art of Listening in TYA

Projektbeschreibung:

BABEL is a European Large scale Cooperation project (Creative Europe Programme) involving 14 Partners from 11 European countries, coordinated by Teatercentrum i Danmark (DK). The Creative Europe programme supports transnational cooperation projects involving organisations in the cultural and creative sectors from different countries taking part in the programme and aims to improve access to European cultural and creative works and to promote innovation and creativity.

A European large scale cooperation project, that pursues the rights of children and youth to full cultural citizenship, and it aims to investigate the communication process, intercultural dialogue, and mutual understanding in TYA and more extensively the Performing Arts for Young Audiences.
