Master Admissions Procedure

In the download menue on the right, you find all infomation and regulations regarding admission proceedings for the Master Degree Programmes "Textile Produkte" and "Management of Textile Trade and Technology.

Please be aware that for the admission the candidate should have a Bachelor degree in a Textile, Clothing or Textile design related field of studies with a final grade of at least 2.5 (German grading system).  For the Master’s degree programme in Management of Textile Trade and Technology a Bachelor’ degree in Management can be only accepted if the applicant show a significant relation to textile technology, e.g. by working in the textile industry for at least 12 months.

Besides the grade of the bachelor's degree, a motivation letter with a tabular resumé as well as an R&D project outline have to be submitted. For each of these three components, an examination committee, which consists of two lecturers from the faculty, will award points from 0 to 20. These points are then added up.

Details about the scoring system and the requirements can be obtained from the regulations.

The topic of the R&D project can be selected from a list, published by the faculty. The list of topics can be found here.
